Your body is incredibly resilient. It’s not like a machine that breaks down over time and eventually needs an external repair, it’s built to repair itself!
Exercise doesn’t make you stronger, it damages you. Your body senses this damage and repairs itself…thus making you stronger!
Your body is designed to handle a certain amount of stress but some people can get in to a situation where their “stress bucket” is so full that they can’t recover and repair. This leads the body to break down faster than it can repair and puts you in a bad place.
By focusing on repair and recovery, you can rebalance the stress/repair cycle and become a much healthier person.
